USA calls as Ethan’s talents recognized

Ethan’s ability to perform internationally, while still keeping a balance between schoolwork and play, has allowed his talents to shine enough for him to be noticed by many abroad.

AMANZIMTOTI stage star Ethan Abrahamse (12) has returned from performing in America, where he performed at international showcases and continued to notch up achievements for his talents.


The young Amanzimtoti Primary School star’s latest achievements, together with the strong market for his strengths abroad, has led his family to decide to relocate to Los Angeles towards the end of the year.


Ethan firstly took part in the IPOP Convention in Las Vegas, where he achieved second place for acting and third place for singing.


“He also made the ‘Oz’ Showcase, where he played the Tinman and sang a duet with Dorothy, ‘Over the Rainbow’,” explained father, Scott Abrahamse. “Ethan also received 11 call-backs from international agents including Disney, Record Labels, TV/Film, Nickelodeon and Warner Bros.”



Scott went on to explain that his son also took part in the ARTS Convention.


“After IPOP, ethan attended the ARTS Convention in Disneyland, Orlando, Florida. He received second place in vocal Broadway, top five finalist for film script and received overall child talent. He also received a New York Film Academy scholarship and a lifetime scholarship to the ARTS. In addition, he made the talent show for both songs and acting and received 13 call-backs from international agents including Broadway Theatre, TV/Film and Nickelodeon.”
