Karan Brar is headed to the big screen in Disney’s upcoming movie, Stargirl.
Deadline reports that the 19-year-old actor will join Grace VanderWaal, Graham Verchere, Giancarlo Esposito, Darby Stanchfield and Maximiliano Hernandez in the new film.
Karan will play Kevin, Leo’s (Verchere) best friend, and filming begins this month in New Mexico.
Stargirl follows Leo Borlock who, in a world where the spaces grow bigger even as they get smaller, meets Stargirl Caraway (VanderWaal), a bright, authentic light who breaks through the sea of teenage confusion.
