IPOP Alum Pierson Fode Cast in New Romantic Thriller ‘Dope Queens’

iPOP Alumni Pierson Fode has been cast in the upcoming feature film ‘Dope Queens’ by writer-director Grafton Doyle. The new indie film celebrates San Francisco’s famed Tenderloin neighborhood. Dope Queens is a semi-autobiographical tale produced by Julio Lopez Velazquez (“Buck Run”) and John Reyes Doyle (“On Our Way”). Co-producing the feature are Eugene Koh (“Feeling Through”) and Giulianno Lopez.

Pierson Fode began his rise to fame after attending iPOP!, the LA-based bi-annual talent event. His success continued with an acclaimed role on The Bold and the Beautiful that earned him two Daytime Emmy nominations. Pierson has also starred in other hits like Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List, Jessie, and Dynasty. He will next be seen in Reboot Camp.
