LOS ANGELES, Calif. (03/15/22) - iPOP Alumni Addison Riecke and Madison Wolfe will return to the screen in the upcoming feature film “The Man in the White Van”.
The feature film, which also stars Sean Astin, Ali Larter, and Skai Jackson among others is a true-crime thriller. The film is being produced by Garrison Film Productions, Legion M, and XYZ Films with Warren Skeels (Siesta Key) attached to write and produce.
‘The Man in the White Van’ is co-written by Sharon Y. Cobb and is set in 1974, telling the story of an ominous white van that begins stalking a young girl from the town of Brooksville, FL. When the young girl's parent disbelieves their daughter's concern, this leads in the end to a terrifying Halloween nightmare. The feature film intends to explore the origins of the “white van” trope in popular culture, charting its beginnings as inspired true crime stories.
Gary Kompothecras and Lawrence Najem will serve as executive producers for the film. In addition, Mike Page and Arlie Day will handle casting and serve as co-producers with XYZ films handling global sales.
Madison Wolfe recently appeared in her second project with James Wan for the feature film “Malignant” which debuted last year on HBO. The director’s sequel to ‘The Conjuring’, ‘The Conjuring 2’ was Madison’s first significant film role. Before the film’s release, Madison had recurring roles on several hit series, including ‘True Detective’ and Astronaut Wives Club.’ In addition to her most recent role in ‘Malignant.’ She will next be seen in ‘They Whisper,’ ‘The Man in the White Van,’ ‘Growing Up Gorman,’ and ‘Paulie Go!’.
In addition to her upcoming feature, Addison’s recent focus has been on producing with the launch of her own production company LÁ Cov, last fall. She will be seen next in a supporting role in the production company’s first feature, The Lions of Little Rock.
It was after attending iPOP LA that both Addison Riecke and Madison Wolfe found success in Hollywood. Connecting with top industry professionals, Madison and Addison have respectively each gone on to appear in numerous film and TV products.
