iPOP! Alumni Jake Short Lands Role in Upcoming Comedy Film #Roxy


(Los Angeles, September 8, 2016) Jake Short is an actor most known for Disney’s A.N.T. Farm, Mighty Med, and will be starring in the upcoming comedy film #Roxy which hits theaters in Spring 2017. The synopsis of the movie is about a hacker named Cyrus (Short) who helps a star athlete fall in love with his best friend Roxy, whom Cyrus is also in love with.

Jake Short was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 30th, 1997. He moved to California to pursue his acting career. His first role was in the film The Anna Nicole Smith Story back in 2007, when he was just ten years old. Before he became a big star, Jake Short was an iPOP! Alumni. iPOP! is the world’s leading talent event designed to promote emerging talent to leading agents, managers, casting directors, record labels and producers. Their members scout the United States and internationally for the best actors, models, singers, and dancers.
